Bethel United Methodist Church is located in Historic Charleston at the corner of
Calhoun and Pitt Street near the College of Charleston Addlestone Library.
Parking spaces are available:
behind the church - enter from Calhoun Street
Sundays only - in the College of Charleston Multi-Cultural Center - enter from Pitt Street
Sundays only - in the College of Charleston Library parking lot - enter from Pitt Street
Sundays only - at Stuhr’s Funeral Home - visitor parking in the back of the building as long as there is not a funeral.
From West Ashley and James Island, take the Calhoun Street exit from Lockwood Drive and continue down Calhoun past the intersection of Calhoun and Smith Street. Bethel UMC will be located on the right.
From Mt. Peasant, take Highway 17 South to the Meeting Street exit. Turn left on Meeting Street and go to the intersection of Meeting and Calhoun. Turn right on Calhoun Street. Bethel UMC is located on the left just beyond the College of Charleston Addlestone Library.
