The members of the Col. Lewis Class are primarily active senior adults whose Sunday morning lessons concentrate on the Bible through the "Adult Bible Studies" series. The teaching corps for this community of faith consists of members from within the class as well as some leaders from the other adult classes. This teaching diversity provides a broader scope of ideas and different interpretations of the selected study material. No classes begin, however, before the group gathers for singing and a short devotional in the Stackhouse Chapel.
The Col. Lewis Class comes together once a month for an evening fellowship meal and business meeting and has always been a strong supporter of the many mission and other ministry efforts throughout Bethel.
